WEJ Library Scholastic Book Fair
Monday, February 25th to Friday, March 01st
Parent Volunteers Are Needed To Help Run The Fair.
Once again WEJ is hosting the Library Scholastic Book Fair at WEJ!! Parents are needed to help at the fair, please check out the dates and times and sign up on the link below. All profits from the book fair will go toward new French and English books for the school’s library.

A Book Fair letter will be going home a week prior to its start with a class schedule.
If you are experiencing difficulty in signing up online, please email Mme Poirier at monique.poirier@ocdsb.ca with your preferences and she will look into it and confirm with an email.
All profits raised will help purchase new French and English books for our school library.
Movie night – Lego Ninja
The School Council will host a Family Movie Night showing the movie — The Lego Ninjago Movie (2017). Bring your blanket, your pillow and enjoy a good time together with friends and family!
Thursday, February 15
Pizza Dinner: 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Movie in the Gym: 6:30 pm – 8:15 pm
Admission is FREE! This event is sponsored by the WEJ School Council.
FOOD available: Pizza and drinks can be ordered through the hot lunch ordering system under the “Movie Night February 15” menu. (**FOOD ORDER DEADLINE IS Wednesday, February 14 at NOON!**
Pizza Delivery is at 5:30pm and the movie starts at 6:30pm.
Notes: Please be aware this is NOT a drop-off event. A parent or guardian must accompany their child(ren). No food/drinks are allowed in the gym, so there will be designated classrooms for eating dinner.

Parent School Council Meeting TONIGHT!
Come join fellow parents tonight, Monday November 9th at this month’s parents School Council meeting in the school library at 6:30pm.
Principal Burans gives an update on what’s happening at school at every meeting. Parents have to opportunity to get involved and have an impact on their children’s school life. Come help us plan some exciting events this school year!

Poinsettia Fundraiser
School Council is partnering with Richmond Nurseries, a local business, to sell poinsettias with a portion of the proceeds going to the council. This fundraiser will use the online ordering system, wejcouncil.fundraiserorders.com. 
Choose a plant size:
- 4.5″ pot, single plant – $8
- 6″ pot, large single plant – $16
- 8″ pot, two plants – $36
- 10″ pot, three plants – $48
Ordering starts Wednesday, November 11th until Wednesday, November 18th.
Delivery of plants will be on Tuesday, December 1st from 3pm – 6pm.
Please support your school! Richmond Nurseries is offering a great deal with exceptional beautiful plants with a portion of the sale going to the school council! Richmond Nurseries, needs a minimum of 25 plants to be sold to parents, to guarantee delivery,

Fleece Hat Fundraiser
With the coming cold weather, consider supporting the school with the purchase of a WEJ monogrammed fleece hat. Hats can be purchased on the WEJ fundraiser ordering website, wejcouncil.fundraiserorders.com. Hats coming in a variety of colours (blue, red, purple and pink) and in either youth or adult size for $10 each.
